ISEP Programme
Download the ISEP application Instructions 2025/26
The University of Pavia is part of the ISEP exchange network, which offers students study opportunities worldwide with around 200 destinations. The programme opens once a year in January, for departures in the second semester of the following academic year. The ISEP Exchange Programme is included in the Overseas Exchange Programme Call. Please follow the provided instructions.
ISEP and the Overseas Exchange Programme
While completing the application for the Overseas Exchange Programme, you can select the ISEP Exchange Programme as one of your three possible destinations. Within ISEP, you will need to select up to 10 U.S. universities participating in the programme and specify, at the application stage, the academic activities you wish to pursue at each selected institution.
Destinations
To view all available destinations, open the Map of Participating Universities and use the “ISEP Exchange” filter in addition to filters for geographic area, language level, and study area of interest. The geographic area should be set to “United States.” It is also important to check the Placement Probability, updated each semester, to assess the competitiveness of access to certain universities. ISEP strives to respect each student’s preference list, but placement is not guaranteed.
Students may select universities in different countries, provided they meet the specific language requirements of each destination.
Participate in the Language Tests
Not required for PNRR – MUR TNE projects
The tests will be held online between March 3 and March 7, 2025. Check the exemption criteria in the table attached to this call.
The schedule will be published on February 28, 2025, by the University Language Center.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Passing the language test is necessary to be assigned to one of your selected destinations, but it does not automatically guarantee acceptance by the host institution. Students must carefully check the websites of foreign universities where detailed language requirements are specified, such as international language certifications (e.g., IELTS). Some institutions with multiple teaching languages restrict course enrollment to students who hold a certification for the specific language of instruction. Therefore, students must ensure that their chosen host institution offers a sufficient number of courses in a language they are proficient in.
For Native Speakers (as defined in Art. 7, point 1 of the Call for Applications)
If you are a native speaker, complete and upload the following form in the designated section:
The self-certification must be attached to your application form. Attachments submitted via email will not be considered.
Participate in the Selection Interviews
Selection interviews will be held on different days, each dedicated to a specific disciplinary area. Detailed information on the interview process, as well as the date and time of your scheduled interview, will be sent via email to eligible candidates.
