The University of Pavia welcomes students for internships in its departments (Faculties and Administrative Structures) within the Erasmus + Programme. Placements should last between 2-12 months.
Identify the professor or the office you would like to work with
- check the list of Departments where you will find each professor contact details
- check the list of UNIPV admininistrative Offices
- For the Faculty of Medicine: please don’t contact Professors but the Erasmus Office of Medicine – Ms Alida Brocchetta socramed@unipv.it
Send the following application documents to the professor
(or to incoming.erasmus@unipv.it, if you want to do your traineeship in an administrrative office):- a short summary of the activity you would like to carry out at the University of Pavia including your preferred start and finish dates
- a declaration from your home University confirming that you are eligible for an Erasmus grant under the Erasmus + Programme
After being accepted, please
- email your Learning Agreement for Traineeship to your UNIPV tutor
- ask your University tutor/International Relations-Mobility office responsible to nominate you to incoming.erasmus@unipv.it
- Ask for a VISA (check here if needed)
- Check here the entry conditions for Italy
- Fill in the online application (you will receive instructions via email)
- Take care of insurance issues
- Take care of health insurance
- Be officially registered The official registration will be made online by the Erasmus Office. Students will receive all the useful information by mail. After your registration, you will receive an e-mail on your personal e-mail address providing you with a University of Pavia e-mail address (name.surname01@universitadipavia.it). To activate your new account, you should use the password that will be sent to you. If you have any problems, please contact us at incoming.erasmus@unipv.it Please note that you MUST set up your new e-mail account in order to access the Area Riservata, the Wi-Fi service, and all the other services provided by the University of Pavia. Moreover, we will only get in touch with you through this e-mail address! Area Riservata (Reserved Area) is a personal area in which a student can find all the information regarding his/her academic career. The password to enter it will be sent to you by noreply@unipv.it to your Unipv email account.

Students then have to meet their Erasmus Tutor to check the training agreement. Tutor’s office hours are available from the Faculty web page.
