European Alliance “EUROPEAN CAMPUS OF CITY UNIVERSITIES – EC2U”.
The University of Pavia is part of an Alliance of European Universities called EC2U which includes seven other Universities: Universidade de Coimbra (Portugal), Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany), Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași (Romania), Université de Poitiers (France), Universidad de Salamanca (Spain), Turun Yliopisto (Finland) and Johannes Kepler Universität Linz (Austria). The Alliance is working to develop a shared and European approach to higher education, including several actions and joint projects at all levels.
The EC2U Forum “Empowering Minds to Support a Peaceful Society” is scheduled for October 2024 and it is organized by the Johannes Kepler University Linz - JKU (Austria)

The mobility will be at the Johannes Kepler University Linz - JKU (Austria).
The program will be defined by the Johannes Kepler University Linz - JKU and will be available on the EC2U website soon.
6-day mobility:
- 20 October 2024 (Sunday): travel, arrival;
- 21-24 October 2024 (Mon-Thu): full program days;
- 25 October 2024 (Friday): departure, travel.
The Forum is targeted to UniPV students.
Selection criteria:
- Enrolled at the University of Pavia;
- Quality of the motivation letter (in English);
- Level of English minimum B2;
- Balanced diversity (gender, study level, study field).
Students are required to provide an English certificate, except for:
- Students enrolled in a study course taught in English
- Native English speakers
Students interested are invited to carefully:
EC2U students will benefit from the “status” EC2U that implies:
- attendance of the activities organized by the hosting institution
- a certificate of attendance that may be recognized in the UNIPV student’s career.
