This project seeks to promote socially localised forms of architectural pedagogy and model the role of architects as active citizens. The SArPe project is designed to benefit both learners and educators by developing digitally responsive, innovative, inclusive, and socially situated learning skills. To achieve this, SArPe aims to enhance architectural curricula with revised modules that focus on: 1) bringing architectural pedagogy closer to social challenges, 2) implementing inclusive participatory models of teaching and learning, and 3) engaging with and impacting a broader network of stakeholders, including non-academic organisations and partners.
