The Erasmus+ project “Curriculum Development joint European Political Science MA (euroPS)” led by the University of Salzburg – Department of Political Science and Sociology aims to develop a joint/multiple Master’s program in Political Science to be accredited by all project partners and the development of a multilateral management of this MA. The project aims to implement a multilateral Joint/Multiple Degree (JD) in Political Science at the Master’s level (120 ECTS) with a diploma supplement for all participating partners on a European standard. As a modernization and Europeanization project, it will support, reflect, and enhance the standards of EU and Western Balkans partners and intensify regular academic exchange of best practices and the creation of sustainable networks between EU-WB partners, but especially among World Bank partners. The project will last for two years, from October 2015 to September 2017.
The shared academic ambition and cooperation of the EuroPS consortium are represented in the development of the curriculum for the joint master’s program in political science – integration and governance (PoSIG). It is based on international standards and reference parameters for teaching political science in accordance with level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework. EuroPS partners contribute with their specific academic profiles in comparative politics, European integration, international relations, public administration, and political theory. Western Balkans partners also provide specific academic expertise regarding political developments in the region.
