The MAD4Cancer Project – Towards an International Master Degree in Cancer Biology is an Erasmus Mundus Design Measure which aims at consolidating existing partnership among the Department of Biology and Biotechnology (DBB) of the University of Pavia (UNIPV), the Department of Biology and Life mechanisms (Bio-MV) and the Institut de Recherche en Cancérologie de Montpellier (IRCM) of the University of Montpellier (UM), with the addition of the Institute for Research in Immunology and Cancer (IRIC) associated with the Université de Montréal (UdeM). The objective of this action is to create an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree programme in Cancer Biology, that will exploit the strengths of each partner institution in terms of academic portfolio, practical internships, and research infrastructures, including their connections with local start-ups and/or biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
