The LASALUS project aims to increase and improve access for professionals from outpatient centers, hospitals, and health centers to higher education in healthcare management through the development and implementation of an international curriculum cluster in health management characterized by distance learning modes and computer-based simulation training.
Distance learning will provide greater geographical accessibility and flexibility in terms of time and pace. Simulation-based training (SBT) as a constructive and collaborative tool to approach the real world and be well-prepared is closely tied to the quality of academic material and the digital learning environment. If the skills for results-based management of personnel in managerial positions in health services are enhanced, these populations will have access to better services, particularly those needed to achieve the goals set in MDGs 4 and 5.
