ERASMUS+ TRAINEESHIP PROGRAM
With the Erasmus Traineeship program, you can spend a traineeship period of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 months in a European or non-European company.
Erasmus+ allows for several mobility periods for each study cycle.
A total of 12 months of mobility is allowed for cycles I (three-year), II (master’s), III (doctorate, first or second level master, specialization school), and 24 months for the single cycle.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
The program is aimed at:
- Students regularly enrolled in a study program at the University of Pavia (three-year degree, master’s, single-cycle master’s, doctoral research, first and second-level university master, specialization school).
- Recent graduates, provided they are selected before obtaining the degree.
- Those who do not benefit from a community contribution for the same period of mobility provided by other programs or actions funded by the European Commission, or a scholarship within other international mobility programs of the University and/or equivalent to those of the University (e.g., international mobility programs of the merit Colleges).
- Those who, although having already participated in Erasmus Studio, Erasmus Traineeship, Erasmus ICM, have not already used all the months of mobility allowed by the Erasmus+ program in their study cycle.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
With Erasmus+ Traineeship:
- You can carry out an internship or research thesis activity.
- The internship must be relevant to your course of study and your personal training needs.
- You cannot engage in study activities (e.g., attend courses, take exams).
- The activity carried out will receive academic recognition (graduates cannot have the activity recognized in their career).
- A variable economic contribution is provided based on the destination country, along with an integration to the scholarship defined in relation to the ISEE indicator.
WHERE YOU CAN GO
European and non-European countries (more information and limitations are indicated in the Call);
- Any public or private organization active in the labor market or in sectors such as education, training, research, and youth;
- A non-profit organization;
- An Institute of Higher Education; etc.
Ineligible locations: EU institutions and other EU bodies, including specialized agencies, organizations managing EU programs, such as National Agencies. More details at: EU Institutions and Bodies
WHEN
The call is published and opened in spring, with departures from August, and internships must be concluded by September 30 of the following year
