The project seeks to raise awareness and train students in good practices of sustainable development from the multidisciplinary nature of the students through the methodology of Participatory Action Research (PAR). To this end, inter-university groups will be created around the challenge of sustainability and climate change. These inter-university and interdisciplinary teams will share good practices that exist in their local environment to address climate change and sustainable development, will visit and learn from experiences about sustainability during face-to-face phase in Portugal, and as a group they will propose innovative solutions to a problem that they have identified as a group.
The concept of sustainable development that will be worked on contains the three elements: social, environmental, and economic. The sessions will work on the interdependence of the three components as the key to sustainable development.
