The aim of this Spring School is to work on challenging issues for a sustainable development future in Europe, including: a) How economic growth can be fairly distributed across society and how to reduce poverty and social exclusion (inclusive growth); b)How societies can contribute to the mitigation of global climate change and adapt to the climate change that is occurring (climate change); c) Enhancing education and training, creating job opportunities, and promoting social and political participation for youth (youth challenges); d)How to transform the digital economy and the technology advances for a more prosperous society (4thindustrial revolution); e)Designing and managing migration and asylum policy for social cohesion and successful integration (People on the move)
Students’ work shall focus on: a) measuring, describing and evaluating the current national and European trends; identifying progresses and drawbacks in the topics under investigation, in their respective home countries and in comparison to EU28/EU27 averages; b) evaluating the current national and European policy and practices; identify interesting local or national practices; formulating national and European suitable policy proposals.
Il Blended Intensive Programme will be both online and in presence at the University of Gent (Belgium).

The BIP SEPPI will take place online with several webinars organized in December 2023-March 2024 and in presence at University of Ghent, Belgium, from April 2nd to 6th 2024 (travel not included)
