The project will focus on complementary activities and training that can be offered to students who aim to become community pharmacists in order to help them managing all their new missions to the patients. Clinical skills are becoming increasingly important for community pharmacists as they take on more patient-facing roles in primary care (advice to patients, vaccination, tests, foloowup of treatment, etc). Not all European universities teach in-depth practical clinical skills in their Pharmacy studies.
The main aim of this project is to allow the students:
1. to carry out theoretical and practical activities in order to be able to understand the future role of a clinical pharmacist on the territory and in the hospital;
2. to acquire the performances that the new pharmacist of the post-Covid area must have in terms of knowledge and practice.
The course will take place in presence at UniPV and organized in collaboration with the prestigious Schools of Pharmacy of Paris Saclay and Dublin Trinity College.
Maximum number of UniPV participants: 16.
All activities will be attended by a group of international students from the three European Universities that are partners of the project:
- Italy: University of Pavia (UNIPV), main host University
Contact person: Prof. Giovanni Ricevuti: giovanni.ricevuti@unipv.it)
